BRITT EKLAND Actress, model and singer, she has appeared in films including Machine Gun McCain (1969); Get Carter (1971); The Wicker Man (1973) and The Man with the Golden Gun (1974).
RITA TUSHINGHAM won BAFTA and Golden Globe Awards for A Taste of Honey (1961). Other roles include: The Leather Boys (1964); Smashing Time (1967); Bread; Armchair Theatre & Vera.
RICK WAKEMAN CBE A world renowned keyboard player both as a member of YES and as a solo artist.
CAROLINE MUNRO Cellar Club presenter and our host. Bond girl Caroline has also starred in Starcrash; The Abominable Dr. Phibes; At the Earth’s Core and The Golden Voyage of Sinbad.
MADELINE SMITH Will also host. Her career includes Live and Let Die (1973); Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970); Theatre of Blood (1973); Up Pompeii (1971) and The Amazing Mr. Blunden (1972).
MIKE READ presents The Footage Detectives with Noel and will also host. Writer, DJ, journalist & presenter, Mike was a Radio 1 DJ and host for Top of the Pops.
BRIAN MURPHY Is best known as henpecked husband George Roper in Man About the House and George and Mildred.
NORMAN ESHLEY (The Immortal Story (1968) and Blind Terror (1971), whose TV roles include: Man About the House (1973–76) & George and Mildred (1976–79).
NICHOLAS BOND-OWEN, (Tristram Fourmile in George and Mildred) for a George & Mildred reunion.
LINDA REGAN Actress and author, has appeared on television, film, radio and on stage. She is known for her role as Yellowcoat April in the British holiday camp sitcom Hi-de-Hi!
KATE GARNER Pianist/singer and songwriter and daughter of Chas from ‘Chas & Dave’. She has a passion for vintage music & television and loves to write songs inspired by them. She has always had a great fondness for Talking Pictures TV, from ‘Upstairs Downstairs’, ’Secret Army’ & ’Glimpses’ to all the classic old films. Kate will be singing an uplifting ‘Talking Pictures’ tribute live at the piano, featuring some of her own vintage style music and well known favourites, with a special nod to the songs featured in ‘Upstairs Down-stairs’.
NIGEL PLASKITT Puppeteer, (Pipkins, PG Tips) will bring along some of his famous puppets, including HARTLEY HARE; for a Pipkins reunion with JONATHAN KYDD (Tom in Pipkins) .
JULIAN DUTTON Award-winning English comedy writer and performer, Julian will perform an extract from his John Le Mesurier tribute, “Do You Think That’s Wise?”
ANDRE VINCENT Comedian, writer & comedy historian, gives fascinating insights into comedy history.
NEIL BRAND PRESENTS LAUREL AND HARDY From their earliest days on opposite sides of the Atlantic in Music Hall and on the stage, to their individual comedy films before they were paired up by Hal Roach, and on to their silent masterpieces before the arrival of sound, Neil will tell the touching story of the world’s greatest comedy team, who could not have been two more different men! ALLAN BAILEY has played in the presence of H.M. Queen Elizabeth and at The 100 Club. He performs 50’s and 60’s favourites including Elvis, Buddy Holly and more!
MEL BYRON Comedian and film-lover Mel Byron, is STILL having her life saved by old movies. This time she’s joined by some of the cinema greats.
LOLA LAMOUR transports audiences to the bygone age of the 40s and 50s with her nostalgic music and vintage costumes.
