GENE VINCENT arrived in London in December ’59, basing himself in England for several years. During 1960 and 61 his UK and US record releases differed; indeed, his final Capitol LP, Crazy Beat, was never issued in the US. This compilation comprises all of Gene’s eleven UK singles between December 59 and the end of 1962, including five UK hits, Wild Cat, My Heart, Pistol Packin’ Mama, She She Little Sheila, and I’m Going Home. Also included are the celebrated movie version of Spaceship To Mars, from the film It’s Trad, Dad, and the The Crazy Beat Of Gene Vincent LP in its entirety.
