THE NOLANS – MAUREEN, DENISE and ANNE NOLAN
Celebrated as Ireland’s First Family of Music, The Nolans burst onto the scene in 1974 as regulars on The Cliff Richard Show, Morecambe and Wise and The Two Ronnies, before touring with legends Engelbert Humperdinck and Frank Sinatra and releasing 15 studio albums. “Girl Power” began with The Nolans, one of the most successful girl groups of all time, selling over 30 million records worldwide with hits such as Attention To Me and I’m In The Mood for Dancing. They received a Variety Legend of Industry Award and reunited for their shows The Nolans Go Cruising and At Home with The Nolans.
AMANDA BARRIE
Amanda made her film debut in Operation Bullshine, leading to roles in films such as What a Whopper and Doctor in Distress. She starred in Carry On Cabby and Carry On Cleo. TV roles include Bev Tull in the ITV prison drama, Bad Girls and Alma Halliwell in Coronation Street.
ANITA HARRIS
Actress, singer and entertainer Anita had several chart hits during the 1960s including: Trains and Boats and Planes, Just Loving You and Anniversary Waltz. She appeared in Carry On films Follow That Camel and Carry On Doctor and has enjoyed a long TV and stage career. She also worked with magician David Nixon and was a guest on the Morecambe and Wise Show.
STEVE & PETER FINCH, sons of JOHN FINCH discuss their father’s career. John Finch created A Family At War; and was a writer for Coronation Street, later becoming the editor and producer. Other work includes: Spoils of War, This Year Next Year and Sam.
SHERRIE HEWSON
Sherrie starred in Love for Lydia and played roles in Crossroads; Coronation Street; Emmerdale; Benidorm and Hollyoaks. She has enjoyed a long and varied TV career as well as films including Carry On Behind, The Slipper and the Rose and Hanover Street.
JULIE PEASGOOD
The much-loved actress and presenter starred in House of the Long Shadows (1983), and TV’s Clayhanger, Play for Today and Brookside. She was also in The Romantic Englishwoman (1975) with Glenda Jackson and appeared in Van der Valk (1991).
JIMMY CRICKET
Jimmy has been making us laugh since the 1970s. He starred in his own TV comedy show, And There’s More; as well as his own series on Radio 2. He brings his catchphrases, humour and his trademark wellies to the stage.
BERNIE CLIFTON
Comedian, singer, Crackerjack legend and Ostrich-riding marathon runner Bernie has appeared regularly on the Royal Variety Performance, was a contestant on The Voice UK; is a panto regular and has presented shows on BBC radio.
