This book covers the start of the Odeon circuit as well as the impact of World War II on cinemas. Tribute is paid to some of the finest buildings erected in Britain during the 1930s and to Deutsch himself. The book also includes a detailed list of all the cinemas that were part of the Odeon circuit in Deutsch’s lifetime.
