The film uses interviews and archive footage, woven together with Hitchcock’s own voice as well as voiceovers from Adam Roche, Eli Roth, Christina Lane, Alexandre O. Philippe, Ben Mankiewicz, Edgar Wright, John Landis, Thom Mount, Mark Ramsey and Hitchcock’s grand-daughters, Tere Carruba and Mary Stone, to present one of the most influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. Featuring footage and voices of Tippi Hedren, Janet Leigh, Kim Novak, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman and his daughter Patricia, I AM ALFRED HITCHCOCK explores the man behind the camera. Born in 1899, Sir Alfred Hitchcock KBE directed over 50 feature films, becoming as well known as his actors. His work received 46 Academy Awards, including five for best director. He won two Golden Globes and five lifetime achievement awards. Oscar nominated five times for Best Director, he among a few British directors with a plaque on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
