AN EXCLUSIVE, LIMITED EDITION SET

This limited edition set of five A5 cards feature images reproduced from original oil paintings by Michael Quirke. Four of the cards display atmospheric scenes of London cinemas at night, produced in vibrant colours. The fifth card depicts the iconic Talking Pictures TV image of an audience in front of a cinema screen, displaying the TPTV logo. Each card comes with a white envelope, is folded and left blank inside for your message and has a short biography of the artist on the back.

Michael Quirke (1946-2025) studied at St Martin’s School of Art in London before moving to St Ives, where he became a member of the art community. His contribution there earned him the role of President of the St Ives Art Club. Michael was known for his scenes of London that, through their expressionist style, beautifully capture the energy of this dazzling city. He studied under famed artists Frank Auerbach, Maurice Field and Leon Kossof.
