A Swedish scientist discovers a method to transform sound into power. His wife disappears with his young assistant and parts of his invention are stolen. The police inspector, played by Jack Warner, follows their escape route through desolate wastes where Lapp tribes and their reindeer herds eke out a precarious living. Featuring an early performance by Christopher Lee.
