Showgirl (Shelley Winters) heads to Britain from America. Under a complicated bequest from her uncle, Myrtle stands to inherit $2,000,000 if her ex-husband doesn`t have many male heirs on the way, else he gets the cash. Finally she tracks him down with his heavily pregnant new wife.

Famous Female Director Muriel Box directed this 1954 production, co-written by Peter Rodgers of “Carry
on” fame, from a play by Roger Macdougall. A stellar cast of Shelley Winters, John Gregson, Peggy Cummins and Wilfrid Hyde-White, mostly filmed in the UK.

A funny and well crafted production.
