Were you at the Hyde Park concert in 1969? Relive the memory and experience one of the greatest events in rock and roll history, with Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones.

On the 5th of July 1969, upwards of  250,000 fans flocked to Hyde Park, London, on a pilgrimage to see the group described as “the greatest rock’n’roll band in the world” – The Rolling Stones. At this free show, filmed on a sunny July afternoon, the band performed songs including Satisfaction, Honky Tonk Woman, Jumping Jack Flash and an extended version of Sympathy for the Devil. Tragically, band member Brian Jones died two days before the concert, which the grieving band dedicated to his memory. Mick Jagger read two stanzas of Shelley’s poem, “Adonaïs”, after which hundreds of white butterflies were released into the air.
