35 TRACKS on 1 CD
JOE MELSON is famous as co-writer of Roy Orbison’s early hits, but he also had a recording career himself, cutting a series of R&R sides for the Hickory label. His recorded legacy is an impressive body of work, however, Melson never had a national hit. Features sixteen of his songs as recorded by other artists, are also included: Mark Dinning, The Velvets, Conway Twitty and Bobby Vee, alongside a trio of Orbison’s biggest, signature hits, Only The Lonely, Running Scared and Crying.
